On January 4th and 5th, East Coast skateboarding magazine Focus had its first regional tradeshow in a venue that reminded me of "Mad Max." Red Bull was kind enough to provide a miniramp for a skate to the death miniramp contest on the first day. The second day a high ollie contest was held. Luis Tolentino naturally won. I heard he ollied, like, 17 feet high. I wasn't there so I can't confirm it. but I was there the first day to watch way too many dudes nearly die colliding in the miniramp contest.
