On Tuesday afternoon, a few of the vert heavies were warming up on the ramp inside the Nokia Theater here in Los Angeles. The setup -- with a vert ramp taking center stage in a traditional concert venue -- reminded me of the Swatch Impact Tour from days of yore. Come Friday, it should make for a dynamic spot to watch the contest.
Gearing up to get down were Bucky Lasek, Alex Perelson, Shaun White, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, Pierre-Luc Gagnon and more. I caught a few clips of White, Lasek and Perelson getting a feel for the ramp.
