Tis the season of dudes going pro. In the past month we've seen nearly 10 ripping dudes graduate from am status to having their name on a bottom of a board. Enjoi's Nestor Judkins is one of the newest members of the class of 2011 and arguably one of the most handsome in the class.

How has life changed since going pro?
Not too much actually; that's the weird part about it. Well, it hasn't changed yet. I'm still kind of settling in. It has made me a little more confused like, "What am I supposed to be doing?" But it's only been about a month.

How did they tell you that you were turning pro?
It was random. We were all together because everyone came down for that TransWorld video premiere and the next morning was my birthday so they all gave me a bunch of crappy birthday presents like little toy paddles and fireworks. Then the last box had the board in it. It was a nice surprise.

Did you know it was happening?
Not really. Caswell [Berry] kind of spilled the beans a little. They had been sending emails around. I guess Matt [Eversole] sent an email asking if they should turn me pro. I wasn't involved in any of those emails obviously but then Caswell responded and copied me in there and I was like, "Yeah, I think we should do it." That was in March and I guess they were planning it for a couple months but it was a while ago so I kind of put it in the back of my mind. Caswell kind of blew it though; it was funny.

What did you do with your first pro check?
Deposited it. I'm not going to blow it or anything. I didn't do anything special with it. I didn't take it to a casino or anything and gamble it all away by putting it on black and losing.

What's it going to take to have it sink in that your pro? You need to see a kid with your board?
Something like that. I have time. I saw a photo of Caswell skating the board and that kind of hit me. Maybe with time it'll sink in.

Does it make you sad that you are not mentioned in the same breath as Alex Olson and Dylan Rieder when people discuss handsome men?
Yeah. Maybe. Maybe they're a little more in the limelight with their handsomeness? That would be a weird way to be constantly mentioned. But I'd have to go with Dylan on which of those two is more handsome. He's a little more stylish, too.

Fashion-wise? Or skating?
I guess both. I was thinking about fashion since we were talking about handsomeness; I was forgetting all about the skating.

I know you grew up traveling and have seen a lot of the world. Where are some places you'd still like to visit?
Russia is definitely the top place I've been that I'd like to go. It seems real interesting to me; it's so different. I feel like even after a lot of traveling you'd still get that shock when you go there. I've never been to Australia, I'd like to go there. But it doesn't have that same shocking value. It seems like fun.

How is it that you avoid the in-house torment that befalls most guys that ride for Enjoi?
I don't know; I guess I'm lucky. Obviously Jose [Rojo] gets it the worst. I think I was always a nice quiet kid growing up around them and so I snuck by that way. Those guys have a lot more dirt on each other, Matt Eversole doesn't really have much dirt on me, so that weighs into it, too.

But are you always looking over your shoulder, waiting for it?
Yeah. I mean it's going to happen. I welcome it. We just need to go on more trips because they'll be able to make fun of me as much as they want. Maybe they just forget about me since I'm not living in the same area. Who knows? I count it as lucky. I don't want to talk too much about it or it's going to make them get on my case. Maybe now that they gave me a board on the next trip they're going to haze me.

You just released your TransWorld video part in "Not Another Transworld Video" but what people want to know is if there's going to be another Enjoi DVD anytime soon.
I think there is. I want to know that, too. We got something coming. There was an ad that had the Mayan doomsday date of December 21, 2012. We had a meeting and we don't really know what we're going to do but we're going to have a premiere on that date for whatever it is. It might be another full video but I don't know. Something will come out. What I'm claiming is you don't even have to make a video, what's the point? The world is ending.

A lot of guys just got turned pro. Who is your favorite new pro?
I can only think of Austyn Gillette and Theotis [Beasley]. Austyn seems like he's one of the super-talented, best skaters nowadays. That dude is good. I'll go with him.
