ESPN.com: What's the deal with Praxis?
Watson: They must be crazy picking me (laughs) just kidding. I'm friends with one of the owners, we've been friends for a long time, Travis, so he picked me to be the main personality.

When are we going to start seeing shoes?
Shoes will be in stores worldwide June 1, 2012.

Does the inaugural offering have a Karl Watson pro shoe?
That wont come out until spring of 2013.

That's awesome! With Ipath dismantling most of the team, are you looking at any of your former team mates to be a part of the brand?
That's a possibility. I'd love to have Matt Rodriguez on board but I think they are holding onto him. But there are other guys I'm interested in, like Ryan Lay. We've been contacted by a few guys as well so we will see.

When are you going to start announcing more of the team?
Pretty soon. Once the shoes come out in stores we are going to give it a big push.

What else can you tell us that people would be stoked to know?
You can get the shoes at FTC, 501 skate shop, Cowtown, Zumiez, Blades, CCS and Active. And the main countries that we will be selling to are Canada, Japan, and Germany right off the bat.

Being such an eco-friendly guy, is that going to carry over into Praxis?
For sure, we have vegan shoes and everything.

Will that start right away?
Right away in our first line. We will start off with five models, four colorways, shirts and hats.

How do they skate?
They are rad! They are the thinnest soles in the game and they have great insoles.

With the economy the way it is and so many pros not having a home for their feet it seems like you scored!
Yeah. I got really lucky, my energy is synonymous with their energy, so it's perfect.

What do you have going on yourself right now?
We have an Organika promo coming out in 2012. It will be a whole team thing, hopefully I'll have a full part. Working on becoming the best person I can be, eating right, breathing right, and raising my energy.

What is your diet like?
I'm 100% vegan. I was vegan for nine years, then stopped for five. But I started again three months ago and I've already lost about 10 pounds of excess fat.

Were you vegetarian in the meantime?
I was pescatarian, so I ate fish, but no other types of meat.

Any last words for us?
