Ryan Sheckler has a new websiteryansheckler.com. For some reason, when I come across a website that has a name in it, I can't help but think of that part in the show "Arrested Development," where the dad's in prison and, if I remember correctly, his son keeps saying something like, "...we need to free George Bluth..." and the dad keeps adding, " dot com" whenever he says it, because he's already set up a site called freegeorgebluth.com. I'm not 100% sure that's it, so if you're an "Arrested Development" fan, leave a comment correcting/kooking me. The point is that I thought of that when I found Ryan Sheckler's revamped website, Ryansheckler.com. I can just imagine someone talking about Ryan Sheckler and either Ryan or his agent adding "dot com" every time Ryan Sheckler is said. This is going badly...I guess what I'm trying to say is I always think it's funny when people put their names in their site (no offense to people I know who have their own names in their website name), for no other reason than that part in "Arrested Development." If you're interested in the current and future face of skateboarding (and to some degree, the unavoidable decadence of fame), check out his site. There's some good stuff on there, like the infamous trip to Dubai (Part 1
and Part 2) among other things and some footage of him skating his park. Have a looksy.
