Londontown and Beyond

London, and it's skate scene, are bigger than the sprawling city. It's a hub for skaters worldwide and a base for their scene to spill into other European cities and towns. Meanwhile, Dominic Marley has been there to capture it: "I have always lived in London and have skateboarded for as long as I can remember. I used to see Wig Worland, Tim Leighton Boyce and Leo Sharp out shooting photo's and thought they were pretty cool. I also liked their photos, so I guess that influenced me. I had been shooting photo's for a few years and was really interested in Studio stuff and portraits. Then, about 8 years ago, I figured shooting skateboarding would be pretty fun. At the time, I had just got interested in using Hasselblad cameras, picked up a few American skate mags and noticed they were using them. I started shooting and I have been ever since.
