When the dust settled Sunday, the skaters standing in the winner's circle might have surprised some. Early in the contest, new pro and recent Tampa Am two-peater Luan Oliveira was thought to be a shoe-in for the win. When everyone saw how well Torey Pudwill skated in the qualifying round, he was a favorite to win. But neither Pudwill nor Oliveira ended up making the top three. Keegan Sauder surprised himself when he hung on to a powerful and perfect second run in the finals that earned him $10,000 and third place. From there it was very close call between Paul Rodriguez and Nyjah Huston. Rodriguez, as it turns out had just a few more technical tricks up his sleeve than young Huston and took home the first place prize and $20,000. (Adam Salo)
