New to this year's tour is the Zumiez Couch Tour app, a free download from Apple's app store. From the app, users can watch each of the 12 stops live on their iPhone or iPod touch through an expanded appcast and webcast that will be streamed live on www.zumiezcouchtour.com. Along with the appcast there will be weekly content from Zumiez Couch Tour on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace & Youtube.

A highlight of all tour stops is the 4th Annual Zumiez Best Foot Forward Am Contest Series 2010 Presented by BONES WHEELS, a jam format contest that will give up and coming skaters a chance to "catch the elusive footshark." The BFF series pushed off in Indianapolis, IN on May 9th, with four additional renegade stops taking place in Madison, WI on May 17th, Tulsa, OK on May 22nd, Phoenix, AZ on May 24th, Las Vegas, NV on May 25th, and then goes overboard feeding on all 12 stops of the Zumiez Couch Tour.

Each BFF stop includes a local open qualifier for the first 20 skaters to register online. Registration information can be found at www.zumiezbestfootforward.com. The top three skaters from each local BFF open qualifier will be invited to compete in the BFF invitational contest later that day. The top amateur skater from each of the 17 BFF contest stops will win an all expense paid trip to the Zumiez Couch Tour's final port of call in St. Paul, MN, to compete in the 'Best Foot Forward' Finals on July 1st, 2010. From there, the top three skaters will earn an all expense paid trip to compete at the 7th Annual Hometown Heroes Finals at X Games 16 on July 31, 2010. www.zumiezcouchtour.com
