The North Face and Brooklyn-based artist Bigfoot teamed up last week to showcase the artist's limited edition collection for the first time in the U.S. (the work had been previously released in Japan). Bigfoot is a longtime contributor to the skate world, and now snow, but the backbone of his work is steeped in the subject of nature, and this collaboration is a reflection of this. The event benefited the Partnerships for Parks Foundation, with a portion of proceeds from the Bigfoot collection going to the foundation.

Working often with house paint and wooden panels, his work depicts the conflict between the respect for nature held by the artist's cast of Bigfoot characters and "the destructive agenda of mankind." The collection utilizes some of The North Face's classic silhouettes with a blend of Bigfoot's signature green and brown hues. A limited quantity of the bags, shirts, jackets are available for purchase at The North Face flagship stores.

Check the collection after the jump.
