For the debut issue of King Snow, Ben Bilocq landed two photos on one cover. Does that mean double photo incentive?
Since the birth of skate magazine King Sh*t, now two issues deep, it feels like we've been waiting around forever to get a peek at their sister mag, King Snow. Well, the wait is almost over. Here's a look at the cover of Canada's newest voice concerning all things shred, which will hit shops November 9th (sadly, not U.S. shops).
If you've seen King Sh*t, then you know to expect a tone reminiscent of Big Brother and the much loved 90s snow mag, Blunt. As publisher Ryan Stutt writes about their first issue, "I'm expecting a few dozen angry phone calls from parents. But hey, that's the price of awesome. If you're not making moms sad, you're not making a very good magazine."
To see what they have lined up in Issue 1, head over to the King Snow website where they've put together a little preview.
Oh, and I'll just go ahead and end this post with a gratuitous plug: I actually interviewed Jed Anderson for this issue, and it's pretty awesome. Whoa, gratuitous and claiming it. Hey now!
