Rider list and afterparty announced for Grenade Games 5 in Whistler

Mate...that's not a list. THIS is a list! The Grenade Games rider list was released today, and one thing is certain: it's huge. When I received the email this morning, I immediately responded to event organizer Dano Pendygrasse with a, "No way, there's no way all these riders are confirmed." At nearly 300, with more recognizable heads than pretty much any event, it just seems well, unbelievable. But this is the Grenade Games, so I'm not going to be a complete skeptic. And afterall, it's springtime—in Whistler. And it's during the Telus Festival, which is only more reason to roll through. Dano responded saying, "There were a lot of riders signed up by team managers and such and then 100 kids got in on the lottery. It's going to be very busy." He also mentioned that Romain de Marchi misspelled his own name when he registered. Sounds like Romain...
The official afterparty was announced today as well. It'll be hosted by Vestal Watches and Dim Mak Records at the Longhorn Saloon on Friday, April 24th. Dim Mak's All Leather will be performing, and no doubt there'll be no shortage of Monster mixed drinks going around.
