Of course Gretchen would make a beautiful bride. Have you seen those Cripplers? Come on.
Five years ago, shortly after Gretchen Bleiler and Chris Hotell started dating, they began taking an annual surf trip to Dominical, Costa Rica. They call it their happy place and for years, talked about how cool it would be to one day bring all their friends and family with them to enjoy their summer paradise. When Chris proposed last summer, they realized they had found a way to do just that. Shortly afterwards, Gretchen (and her mom Robin) began planning her dream wedding and I was fortunate to be counted among those friends and family who got to share the week with the happy Hotells. Like Chris's proposal (if you're ever around either of them, ask for the story!), it was a pretty tough week to top.
