Freeride World Tour drops at Squaw

The third stage of the Freeride World Tour was held on the infamous Tram Face at Squaw Valley in Tahoe. Some serious cliff and chute dropping went down and in the end Xavier De Le Rue of France took first place followed by Matt Annetts and Ryland Bell of the U.S. For the women, Shannan Yates from the U.S. took first place, followed by Germany's Aline Bock and the U.S.'s Susan Mol. Head Judge Snowboard, Xavier Jordan said Xavier took a committed line with great speed and without hesitation. He started with a frontside 360, then jumped a double cliff and finished with a unique cliff jump at the bottom -- high and exposed -- everything executed without any errors. (Photo: Courtesy Squaw)
