Boardslide, Stockholm, Sweden, 2010

"When I first got into snowboarding, jibbing was thriving, but there was no real urban riding, per se. There were just logs or picnic tables or maybe a hand rail at a resort that people would hit after the resort closed. There wasn't any real city riding. I was inspired because I lived in Salt Lake City, where there are a lot of stairs and hand rails around. On the weekdays after school, I wanted to snowboard, so I would just look around."
