Billy Morgan lands first triple rodeo
Oh my. Snowboarding just got another triple added to the list. This time it's a triple backside rodeo, nailed by British snowboarder Billy Morgan on Friday, December 16, in the Keystone, Colorado park -- which, by the way, is rumored to be the best in the Front Range right now.
Who is Billy Morgan, you ask? We wish we knew. Here's what we've figured out so far: He's 22, an Aries, from the UK ... somewhere ... and is currently ranked 380th on the TTR tour. (To be fair, he only has one contest on the books so far this season.) Beyond that, all we really need to know is up in that video, around minute 1:35. The triple rodeo is, as the kids say, "bolts." And as our friends at Onboard magazine pointed out he landed it clean even with someone penguining in the run-out of the jump. Watch and enjoy. Meanwhile, we're going to go track Morgan down for an interview.
Update: We found him! Check out this interview to find more about this guy.
