JoliBurleigh Heads, it's hard to imagine that this place could get any better. More importantly, what's going through the head of that guy standing on the rocks?
Things have been unusually good on the Gold Coast ever since Parko won the Quik Pro...and I'm not talking about creepy, all-night ragers at the pub. No, thanks to back-to-back cyclones, Burleigh, Kirra, Snapper have all been off their face. In April of 1972 the Gold Coast was hit by a full month's worth of storms that produced some of the best, most consistent surf ever seen there, and guess what, this last little run has some Aussie elders seeing double. The lineups that we're bringing you today are courtesy of Cyclone Jasper, and photographer Peter "Joli" Wilson, who commandeered a chopper just for the occassion. Anyway, it's Friday afternoon so hopefully these images leave you with bliss-filled dreams all through the weekend.

Joli"Kirra my darling, will you marry me?"

JoliMick Fanning, at home and gettin' some good, good love.
