Aspen and Snowmass Village, Colo. (January 22, 2010)-- rEvolution, in collaboration with ESPN, will launch the first ever "Snocam Experience," an experiential webcam promotion designed for Winter X Games 14. The "Snocam Experience" will take place at Aspen's Buttermilk and Snowmass Mountains, where skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels will have the opportunity to strap on a helmet cam, take a run down the mountain and star in their own personalized production for free. Each mountain will have a set "Snocam Experience" course for the riders that will feature the ability to jump to rail, slalom, or just cruise down the mountain. By wearing a customized "Snocam" helmet featuring two individual cameras, fans will have the opportunity to film both their run and their face throughout the entire experience. After the run, the production team will edit the split-screen footage into a 30-45 second clip and email a video link to the participant so that it can easily be shared via email, as well as distributed via social media channels. All videos will be archived and viewable online as part of the Winter X Games 14 YouTube channel, available at www.youtube.com/xgames .
