Perfect Score
Shaun White sprained his ankle and pulled out of Snowboard Slopestyle, but then showed up to SuperPipe and notched a perfect score and the first-ever Snowboard SuperPipe five-peat in WX history. Video Video


Frontflipping What?
During WX Best Trick, Heath Frisby set out to land the first snowmobile frontflip, and even after his friend and fellow competitor Justin Hoyer crashed and left the venue with injuries, Frisby focused and did the trick, earning himself his second WX Best Trick gold. Video Video


Doubling Down
First, Marc McMorris won Snowboard Big Air. Then, a day later he won gold again in Snowboard Slopestyle, the first time a snowboarder has won two golds at the same Winter X since Shaun White did in 2009. Video Video


Dorey Almost Had It
Canadian Justin Dorey was on his way to a top-scoring run in the Men's Ski SuperPipe final when he smashed the pipe lip on a switch double flip attempt. Dorey injured his left shoulder but walked away from the incident. Video Video


Kelly's on a Roll
Kelly Clark's massive frontside 1080s separated her from the rest of the field in Women's Snowboard SuperPipe and brought her a fourth Winter X gold. Video Video


Triple Madness
In a historic night, Mark McMorris and Torstein Horgmo landed the first triple corks in Winter X Big Air. Torstein earned a perfect score, but McMorris walked away with the gold. Video Video


Sarah Burke Tribute
A week after her tragic death, Sarah Burke's family and friends pay tribute to the freeskiing pioneer with a candlelight ski-down during the Winter X Games day one telecast. Video Video


Don't Mess With Texas
Texan snowmobiler Colten Moore, 22, rallied after a nasty crash during Freestyle to come back and take his first Winter X gold. His older brother Caleb shared the podium, taking home a bronze medal. Video Video
