Memorable Moment 10: Pastrana's Double

Rumors of Pastrana's double backflip swirled throughout X Games 12, but before the Best Trick the consensus seemed to be that he wouldn't do it. He promised his parents he wouldn't do it, said some. He was too busy competing in an unprecedented four events across two sports, said others. No one's that crazy, added those who didn't fully appreciate how Pastrana's mind works. Because once he stood at the top of the ramp, with the entire Staples Center screaming for history, Pastrana did what he always does: put on a show. The difference this time?
