Memorable Moment 9: Carothers Carolla

Carothers had no business being at X Games 10. First, he broke his foot in January and then broke his leg in late February and barely rode again until June. Second, he wasn't initially invited. But when the selection committee received a video of him trying Moto X's first body varial into Travis Pastrana's foam pit, they issued him a Wild Card for Best Trick. Still, he arrived in Los Angeles before he ever landed the trick onto dirt. "My trick is all or nothing," he said just before his run. "I'm either going to stick it and win or I'm going to hit the ground and hopefully only be a little sore." The win was his only podium in five X Games tries. Tags: Actionsports, Moto X
