It was the kind of moment that could only happen at X Games. A legend on a mission with such intensity and focus that his own competitors ceded him the stage. It took Hawk 11 tries to land the first-ever competition 900, by which time the clock for the Best Trick competition had technically expired. No matter - the rest of the field made it clear that only one man would stand on the top of that podium.
