CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- A few quick thoughts from North Carolina's 81-67 win over rival Duke:

What it means: North Carolina will win the outright ACC regular-season championship and take the No. 1 seed into the ACC tourney next week in Greensboro. The Tar Heels might even still be in the argument for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tourney, while the Blue Devils also remain in that mix.

Star of the game: North Carolina point guard Kendall Marshall, who drove the ball at the Blue Devils before they were ready to handle him. Marshall had 12 points and five assists by halftime and finished with 15 and 11.

Turning point: Down 19-18, Carolina went on a 16-4 run to take a double-digit lead. The Heels never again led by fewer than five points.

Who struggled: Duke forward Kyle Singler. The preseason national Player of the Year in many precincts had another brutal game shooting the ball. Singler finished with eight points on 3-of-14 shooting and missed all five of his 3-point attempts.

Quote of the night: Roy Williams to the fans who stormed the court: "Clear the court so we can celebrate. We want to cut down these flippin' nets."
