Peter D. Newmann of ESPN's NBA Statistics and Information Research dug through all the scenarios so you don't have to. With one night of basketball and all eight Western playoff teams in action, there are five Western playoff seeds up in the air. Here's your cheat sheet:

SPURS

The Spurs play in Phoenix at 10:30 p.m. ET.

• The Spurs are locked as the top seed.

LAKERS

The Lakers play at Sacramento at 10: 30 p.m. ET.

• The Lakers clinch the second seed with a win or a Mavericks loss.
• The Lakers clinch the third seed with a loss and a Maverick win.

MAVERICKS

The Mavericks host the Hornets at 8 p.m. ET.

• The Mavericks clinch the second seed with a win and a Laker loss.
• The Mavericks clinch the third seed if both they and the Lakers win.
• The Mavericks also clinch the third seed if both they and the Thunder lose.
• The Mavericks clinch the fourth seed if they lose and the Thunder win.

THUNDER

The Thunder host the Bucks at 8 p.m. ET.

• The Thunder clinch the third seed if they win and the Mavericks lose.
• The Thunder clinch the fourth seed if they lose or Dallas wins.

NUGGETS

The Nuggets play at Utah at 8 p.m. ET.

• The Nuggets are locked as the fifth seed.

BLAZERS

The Blazers play at Golden State at 10:30 p.m. ET.

• The Blazers are locked as the sixth seed.

HORNETS

The Hornets play in Dallas at 8 p.m. ET.

• The Hornets clinch the seventh seed with a win or a Grizzlies loss.
• The Hornets clinch the eighth seed if they lose and the Grizzlies win.

GRIZZLIES

The Grizzlies play at the Clippers at 10:30 p.m. ET.

• The Grizzlies clinch the seventh seed if they win and the Hornets lose.
• Grizzlies clinch the eighth seed with a loss or a Hornets win.
