He's opening practice to the public "until further notice."

The players report Tuesday and the first practice is Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Rose Bowl Field. Same time Thursday and Friday.

That's almost unheard of.

Just letting people in? Where's the paranoia (College Park)? Where are the bushes around the practice field (State College, Knoxville)? Where's the total shutdown (Charlottesville)?

If Nick Saban runs things the same way he did last year, Alabama will play its first game against Clemson and no media member will have seen any live snap involving an Alabama player at preseason practice.
