I just noticed this at the bottom of another article in the St. Pete Times:
ACC Count: The turnstile count for Saturday's ACC championship game at Raymond James Stadium was 27,360, about half the tickets that were sold and distributed (53,927). The game returns to Tampa next year with two years scheduled after that in Charlotte.
That's the first and only REAL number I've seen from that game. My estimate of 20,000 wasn't that far off, but this is something I'd prefer to be wrong on. Hopefully next year will be better.
