Clemson receivers still a question early

Clemson answered one question early -- the Tigers' running game should be just fine without C.J. Spiller. Andre Ellington made that statement early when he took off for a 60-yard touchdown and an early 7-0 lead over North Texas.

But quarterback Kyle Parker's return from baseball has been lackluster, thanks in large part to a continued lack of dependability from his receivers. Parker started 0-for-4. It's going to take more than just a strong running game for the Tigers to defend their Atlantic Division title.

Of course, it's still early.
