First, the news. Multiple Florida papers are reporting that starting tight end Dedrick Epps could miss the entire 2009 season following reconstructive surgery on a torn ACL. Or, he'll just miss spring practice and return in time for the season opener.

Onto some recruiting tidbits I pulled out of Tom Luginbill's latest report, in case you missed them:

Two left standing for Marcus Hall

Name: Marcus Hall, OT
Cleveland, Ohio
Glenville H.S.
Scouts Grade: 80
Position Rank: 13

Top offensive lineman Marcus Hall is now only considering Ohio State and Miami-FL, according to Bucknuts.com's Bill Kurelic.

Canes land OL Malcolm Bunche

Name:
Newark, Del.
Newark H.S.
Scouts Grade: 75
Position Rank: 101

Newark, Del., offensive lineman Malcolm Bunche has given a Class of 2009 pledge to Miami-Florida.

Once headed to Rutgers, the 6-foot-6, 315-pound prospect picked the Canes over West Virginia, Maryland, South Florida and Syracuse. Among Bunche's other offers are Illinois, UConn and Tennessee.

Bunche told ESPN affiliate Web site InsideTheU.com, "I just felt like the total package was the best I had to choose from as far as all the schools that I was looking at. I liked everything that Miami had to offer and I wanted to be a part of this program that will do something special in the coming years."
