That's more like it.

Virginia Tech's defense has settled down since Central Michigan's opening drive and has started to play more to the standards set by coordinator Bud Foster.

Since that opening 80-yard scoring drive, the Hokies have allowed just 65 total yards. Davon Morgan had an interception, and Bruce Taylor is playing a great game.

The Hokies lead 24-7 and have held Central Michigan to 37 rushing yards so far. It's about time Virginia Tech followed the script.
