Consider it official. Miami forward Jimmy Graham told the Miami Herald on Wednesday that he plans to play for Randy Shannon this fall.
I'll be honest. I have no idea how much this will help the Canes, aside from the obvious: More depth and another body at tight end. I haven't seen Graham catch a football, and he hasn't put pads on in years.
This will unfold sort of like the Greg Paulus situation -- only time will tell how far their old skills can take them. Shannon wouldn't have offered Graham the chance, though, if he didn't think Graham could add something to the team.
