Shannon: Cooper's injury 'nothing serious'

Miami leading rusher Graig Cooper missed Tuesday's practice with an ankle injury, but coach Randy Shannon told reporters it's "nothing serious," and Cooper should be ready for the first game, according to a report in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
This is obviously good news for the Canes, and they've got a deep backfield, so this will give some other players a chance to get more reps. It's not clear when Cooper will return to practice, but Miami fans can now breathe a sigh of relief.
