Boston College running back Montel Harris, who made his season debut in this past Saturday's 45-17 win over UMass, could see more playing time on Saturday against Wake Forest if his health permits, coach Frank Spaziani said.
Harris, the ACC's leading rusher in 2010, missed the first three games while recovering from an arthroscopic procedure to repair the meniscus in his left knee in training camp. Last week, Harris had nine carries for 27 yards. It was a slow start for the player who was named the ACC's Preseason Player of the Year.
"He obviously was very limited going into last week and was limited there," Spaziani said. "We’ve tried to step up his workload a little bit this week. We’ll ask Montel to do whatever Montel can do and handle as much as he can."
