It's another win, and the ACC will take it, but it was an embarrassing home performance nonetheless as Maryland needed overtime to beat James Madison 38-35.

JMU had 11 penalties for 104 yards. They racked up 416 yards of total offense. They proved that you don't have to be Cal -- or from a BCS conference -- to take advantage of Maryland's defensive weaknesses.

This isn't entirely a surprise, considering JMU was ranked No. 6 in the FCS preseason polls, but if Maryland is going to have any chance of making a run in the Atlantic Division, this isn't the way to do it.
