Dave Hooker of ESPN Recruiting has the story on Wes Brown, who committed to the Terrapins Thursday night.
Wes Brown enjoyed the recruiting game. He finally put an end to it by committing to Maryland during the telecast of the Under Armour All-American Game on Thursday evening.
"Stay at home," the three-star tailback said when asked why he decided to commit to the Terrapins. "Be close to my mom where she can be at all my games. She won't have to spend any money on me. Pretty much keeping everything intact."
Asked whether he could help turn around the Terps, who finished 2-10 in head coach Randy Edsall's first season in College Park, Brown said, "I'll let the blogs do the talking. There's nothing much I can say. I'm going to do my job. I hope the others around me do theirs."
