ACC in McShay's latest draft ranking

The ACC continues to fare well in Todd McShay's latest ranking of the top 32 NFL draft-eligible prospects:

No. 5 Quinton Coples, North Carolina

No. 11 Andre Branch, Clemson

No. 12 Luke Kuechly, Boston College

No. 22 David Wilson, Virginia Tech

No. 27 Dwayne Allen, Clemson

No. 29 Zebrie Sanders, Florida State

No. 30 Brandon Thompson, Clemson

No. 31 Lamar Miller, Miami

Wow. Looks like a strong draft class for the ACC. Also looks like a lot of big shoes to fill in 2012. Hard not to imagine how much of an impact some of those guys could have had on their teams and the league had they decided to stick around. But hey, if my name is on that list, I'd be gone, too. ESPN.com's draft experts have tabbed UNC's Coples as the top pass rusher heading to the NFL, followed by Clemson's Branch. Here's an excerpt from the write-up on Coples:

Coples was a bit inconsistent and didn't put up the kind of numbers many expected in 2011, but there's no questioning his ability to get after the passer. He has a rare blend of initial quickness, foot speed and closing burst for his size (6-foot-6, 272 pounds), and while Coples could improve his array of counter moves, he does show active and violent hands.
