Miami has announced the addition of 24 new signees to its program, and what is currently ranked a top-10 class by ESPN.com.
The staff lured in 20 of the team's 24 signees from within the state of Florida. The Canes also filled a major need with six defensive backs. Tracy Howard, the nation's top cornerback and No. 18 player in the ESPNU 150, highlights the class. Coach Al Golden inked six players from the ESPNU 150 and 11 four-star recruits. It was an impressive effort considering the uncertainty still facing the program because of the ongoing NCAA investigation.
