Duke has had it. UNC has had it. Colleges and universities all over the country have reported cases of the Swine Flu, which is why, when Miami's injury report came out with three players listed as having an "illness," it was only natural for someone to ask whether or not Miami had also been infected with the bug.

Miami coach Randy Shannon got a little defensive, though, when Jorge Milian of the Palm Beach Post even mentioned the words "Swine Flu."

"We don't have anything, just the guys on the injury report, that's all we have," Shannon said. "I don't know where you get that information from, we don't have those kinds of problems."

Offensive lineman Ben Jones and running back Damien Berry are doubtful for Thursday night's game against Georgia Tech, and defensive back JoJo Nicolas is out -- all with an "illness." It's the same word that was used last week to describe the H1N1 virus for two UNC players.

Miami, though, appears to be safe.
