When former Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill decided to leave school early for the NFL, it was one of the most eyebrow-raising early departures in the ACC.
ESPN's Todd McShay thinks the decision could pay off for Hill, as Hill is listed by McShay as one of five players who could use the NFL combine later this month to significantly boost his stock. Here's an excerpt of what McShay had to say about Hill:
Hill is not on the same level as recent Georgia Tech prospects Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas, but he does have intriguing physical tools and natural athleticism. With bigger wide receivers being a valued commodity in the NFL there will be plenty of teams interested in what Hill does at the combine.
