Georgia Tech named David Walkosky its special teams coach Tuesday, making him the first special-teams only coach in Paul Johnson's tenure with the Yellow Jackets.

Walkosky served as linebackers coach last season with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders, who promoted him to defensive coordinator after an 11-7 season.

He served as the head coach of Div. II Tiffin (Ohio) from 2008-10, the most recent of his 19 years as a college coach.
