Florida State defensive tackle Darious Cummings and linebacker Jeff Luc have been granted releases to transfer to other schools, coach Jimbo Fisher announced Wednesday.
Hampered by a thumb injury that sidelined him for much of this past season, Cumming, a rising junior, notched seven tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in five career games. Luc, also a rising junior, had 23 tackles and three tackles for loss in 19 career games.
"Both Jeff and Darious are great young men," Fisher said in a release. "We wish them the best in their future endeavors."
