ESPN's Scouts Inc. unveiled its latest recruiting rankings, and Clemson is the lone ACC representative in the top 15. This isn't a surprise, as Clemson's staff has done a good job of recruiting in the past, but Florida State and Miami are usually ahead of the Tigers. Not this time. Clemson narrowly beat Miami for this spot, and the folks at Scouts Inc. think it's because Clemson has "more athletes and more speed across the board."

It's still early, and the rankings will continue to be shuffled, but it's hard to ignore the fact seven SEC teams are in the top 15.

While Clemson stole the spotlight in the rankings, NC State linebackers coach Andy McCollum deserves some attention for his recruiting work in Raleigh. The Pack has done a great job of luring in-state talent lately.

So far, Virginia Tech has the most recruits with 20 already committed to its 2010 class. You can check the full recruiting scorecard for the latest on the ACC.
