When No. 10 Clemson travels to play No. 4 Florida State on Saturday night in Tallahassee, the game will mark the ninth meeting between ACC teams ranked in the Top 10.

It will be the sixth involving Florida State and third involving Clemson. In fact, these two teams have met once before as Top 10 programs. Twelve years ago, No. 10 Clemson traveled to No. 4 Florida State, and the Seminoles won 54-7 victory.

Clemson and North Carolina played the first game between Top 10 ACC teams in 1981. No. 2 Clemson defeated No. 10 North Carolina 10-8 score, and the Tigers went on to win the national championship that year.

The last time a pair of top 10 ACC teams played was in 2007, when Matt Ryan led No. 2 Boston College to a 14-10 win over No. 8 Virginia Tech.

In the eight previous meetings, the higher ranked team has won five times.

Here is a look at all the matchups. Huge thank you to Clemson SID Tim Bourret for doing all the legwork.
