The ACC is the only BCS conference remaining that doesn't have any bowl-eligible teams yet. Even the Big East has Louisville and Rutgers. The ACC can join the club this weekend, as the following teams can reach eligibility with wins on Saturday:
No. 14 Florida State (6-1) at Miami: Florida State has two wins against FCS schools and needs seven wins for bowl eligibility. The Noles will get Miami's best shot, but the Canes are going to need a much better defensive performance in order to stand a chance at the upset.
No. 19 Clemson (5-1) vs. Virginia Tech: The Tigers beat the Hokies twice last season -- once during the regular season and again in the ACC championship game. Virginia Tech's offense took a huge hit this past weekend when center Andrew Miller suffered a season-ending ankle injury.
Duke (5-2) vs. North Carolina: The Blue Devils had a chance to become the ACC's first bowl-eligible team last week, but they were held scoreless for the final three quarters of a 41-20 loss to Virginia Tech. North Carolina is 5-1 but is on probation and not eligible to play in a bowl.
