Clemson backup DB breaks leg

Clemson reserve defensive back Jerrodd Williams broke his leg at practice Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the season, the school announced on Tuesday. It is the second time Williams has broken a leg, as he suffered the same injury during spring practice. Williams played in six of the seven games on special teams this season.

Sophomore defensive back Bashaud Breeland will travel to Wake Forest, but he is listed as questionable with an abdominal strain. Clemson already announced on Sunday that cornerback Darius Robinson will be lost for at least the regular season with a broken ankle he suffered in the first half of the Virginia Tech game.
