The gap between the two conferences grew to over seven points, as the ACC continues to be dragged down by its computer rankings in these calculations. While the Big Ten has a computer ranking of No. 4, the ACC is ranked No. 6.
The ACC actually has a higher AP rank than the Big Ten, at No. 4. The Big East remained at No. 6 in the power rankings, but slipped further behind the ACC -- though that league also has a higher computer average than the ACC.
As long as No. 10 Florida State and No. 13 Clemson keep winning, the ACC should not be in any danger of slipping behind the Big East again. The SEC remains No. 1 in the conference power rankings, with the Big 12 and Pac-12 in a close race for No. 2.
