Here are your top five performers for Week 12, in no particular order:
Florida State running back Devonta Freeman: He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on just 16 carries in a 41-14 win over Maryland to help the Noles clinch a share of the Atlantic Division title and secure a spot in the Dec. 1 Dr Pepper ACC championship game in Charlotte.
Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd: He became the first player in ACC history to account for eight touchdowns in a game, as he led the Tigers to a share of the Atlantic Division title with a 62-48 win over NC State. The Wolfpack led 24-13 in the second quarter before Clemson scored 42 straight points. Boyd accounted for every Clemson touchdown. He was 30-for-44 for 426 yards and ran for 105 yards -- a school-record 531 total yards.
Miami quarterback Stephen Morris: He threw for 413 yards and three touchdowns, leading Miami to bowl eligibility in a 40-9 romp over South Florida. Morris became just the second UM quarterback to record a trio of 400-yard games in his career. Gino Torretta had 400-yard games, in 1989, 1991 and 1992. Morris also became the first quarterback in Miami history to record multiple 400-yard passing games in a season.
Georgia Tech: The Jackets kept their hopes of winning the Coastal Division alive, clinched at least a share of the title and became bowl eligible for the 16th straight season after a 42-24 win over Duke. It's been an impressive turnaround for the Jackets, who started off 1-3 in conference play and had to win one of their last two games in order to become bowl eligible.
NC State receiver Tobais Palmer: Despite the loss to Clemson, Palmer set an ACC record with 496 all-purpose yards. He had a school-record 277 yards on kickoff returns and caught seven passes for 219 yards and three touchdowns. He was just six yards shy of setting the ACC record for kickoff return yards in a game.
