Florida State defensive end Cornellius "Tank" Carradine will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee, coach Jimbo Fisher said Sunday.
Carradine was hurt in the fourth quarter of a loss to Florida on Saturday after making a team-high 11 tackles. He is the second starting defensive end Florida State has lost this season, joining preseason All-American Brandon Jenkins. But you have to give loads of credit to Carradine for doing an excellent job replacing Jenkins in the starting lineup. He ends the season as one of the best defensive ends in the ACC.
"Of course, he's very sad because he wanted to finish the season. But he understood it and handled it very maturely," Fisher said.
