The most interesting thing about Miami's 48-16 route of Florida A&M was that backup quarterback A.J. Highsmith threw the ball three times and completed all three of those attempts. I'm surprised he didn't get more opportunities to throw it considering the lopsided score, but fourth-string running back Damien Berry had 14 carries for 162 yards and one touchdown. It was a good day for backups as the Canes avoided anything resembling an upset.
