Clemson adds four to roster

Four players have joined the Clemson football roster, as they have enrolled for the spring semester. They are eligible to participate with the team in offseason conditioning and spring practice.

Joining Dabo Swinney’s squad are Jadar Johnson, a 6-foot-1 defensive back from Orangeburg, S.C.; Jordan Leggett, a 6-6 tight end from Navarre, Fla.; Ebenezer Ogundeko, a 6-3 defensive lineman from Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Shaq Lawson, a 6-4 defensive lineman from Central, S.C.

Johnson is ranked as the ninth-best player in South Carolina by ESPN. He played wide receiver and defensive back in high school. Leggett is ranked as the No. 5 tight end in the nation by ESPN, finishing his 2012 season with 45 catches for 608 yards.

Ogundeko played in the Under Armour All-American game in St. Petersburg, Fla., and is ranked as the top prospect in New York. He is ranked as the No. 126 overall player in the nation by ESPN.

Lawson had 99 tackles, including 23 tackles for loss at Daniel High as a senior in 2011. He was ranked as the top prep school player in the nation while at Hargrave Military Academy during the fall.
