Congrats to NC State: Tied at 7 with ECU

Posted by ESPN.com's Heather Dinich

Finally. NC State has managed an offensive touchdown against an FBS school. It's an impressive accomplishment considering they did it against No. 15-ranked East Carolina, an in-state rival that took the field in Carter-Finley Stadium mocking the Wolfpack with their wolf signal.

NC State's touchdown is its first offensive TD against an FBS team since Jamelle Eugene scored in the 3rd quarter against Wake Forest on Nov. 17, 2007.

It helps to leave starting quarterback Russell Wilson in the game, as opposed to switching him in and out with Harrison Beck.

And Nate Irving delivered one of the biggest ACC hits of the season, when he flipped the ECU ball carrier right over. The Wolfpack came to play today.
