In a recent podcast, North Carolina coach Larry Fedora chats about his team's identity, the difficulties of inheriting a team dealing with NCAA sanctions and what it's like preparing to face South Carolina the first week of the season.
He also talked about the reasons behind his decision to reward last year's ineligible team with Coastal Division championship rings.
"It was strictly for the kids," he said. "It wasn't to make anybody mad or anything. It was strictly to reward those kids for the job they did."
Check it out, as Fedora had more to say on a variety of topics.
